The Quality Manager will oversee the quality program at a
fast-growing aerospace and defense manufacturing facility, ensuring
compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards while driving process
improvements. This role involves collaborating with
cross-functional teams to advocate for customers and enhance
product quality in aerospace and medical applications.Client

equipment sectors.DescriptionKey Responsibilities include:
- Lead the quality assurance program, ensuring compliance with
ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Manage Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Shop Incident
Reports (SIR) systems.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers
and suppliers.
- Support on-time delivery through timely completion of quality
assurance documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and operations to
document and implement quality plans.
- Facilitate training and certification for Nondestructive
Testing (NDT) inspections and personnel.
- Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and reduce quality
issuesProfileThe successful Quality Manager will have the
following:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a
related field.
- Experience: Minimum of five years in quality management within
aerospace or defense manufacturing.
- Quality Standards Knowledge: Proficient in ISO 9001 and AS9100
compliance and audits.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of defense contracts,
FAR clauses, and military inspections.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach with Six Sigma and
root cause corrective action training.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading teams and
driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written
communication skills to interact with all levels of the
organization.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work cross-functionally with
engineering, operations, and suppliers.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 10% as
