Sag Harbor Tavern seeks a General Manager to join a dynamic team. This role demands creativity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain high standards. Key responsibilities include running pre-shift meetings, overseeing the bar team, and enforcing policies. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and knowledgeable about wine, beer, and cocktails. They must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to form strong relationships with guests. The General Manager will also be responsible for scheduling, training new staff, and preparing for DOH inspections. This is a key leadership role that requires a passion for food, beverage, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include:
--- Opening and closing the restaurant
--- Beverage inventory, orders, and deliveries
--- Leading the bar team on wine, beer, and cocktails
--- Actively selling and retrieving wine during service
--- Supporting the host and service team
--- Forming and maintaining relationships with guests
--- Enforcing policies and protocol
--- Running a nightly report
--- Scheduling
--- Training new staff
--- DOH inspection prep
--- Processing credit card and cash payments
