Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, and analyze reports to optimize business performance.
• Assist the Team Leader in developing and implementing sales and labor strategies, and provide input on new product offerings and vendor partnerships.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and vendor offerings.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Work with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns and issues, and provide coaching and guidance to team members as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer needs and questions.RequirementsRequirements:
  • 18+ months retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for Whole Foods Market products, core values, and company philosophy.
  • Growth mindset towards greater responsibility and ownership.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.Working ConditionsWorking Conditions:
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
    • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
    • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
    • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
    • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
