Overview
At Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and supporting the unit leadership in maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Use the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care.
• Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects.
• Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings.
• Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
• Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities.
  Requirements
  
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
  • Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents.
  • Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated.
