Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality direct resident care and make decisions promoting the safety and quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities:

* Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.

* Use the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities necessary to deliver quality direct resident care and make decisions promoting the safety and quality of care for residents.

* Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and/or medications and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects.

* Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings, including lab/test results, incidents, and concerns.

* Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.

* Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care of resident CNA assignments and activities, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

* Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.

* Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.

* Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.

* Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents.

* Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.

* Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
