Homewatch CareGivers of South Orange - Join Homewatch of South Orange as a Staff Caregiver.
You will be guaranteed 40 hours of pay per week!!
Overview
Members of this team will be -guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours of pay each week whether you have an assignment or not. - There will be no limit to the number of hours worked and all hours over 40 in a week will be paid at overtime rates.
These caregivers must be capable of walking into any client situation and delivering a high-quality experience for the client or clients. These caregivers are assigned as needed by the scheduling team within the allocated work hours. Their schedules will likely include a combination of regular clients and fill in shifts.

Position Requirements: -
- - - - - - - Must have a vehicle & be willing to drive clients locally as requested
- - - - - - - Must be -available to work Monday thru Friday from 7AM to 7PM and every other weekend from 8AM to 8PM
- - - - - - - Must be willing to -accept all cases as assigned -within the designated hours
- - - - - - - Have experience working with a range of clients that have differing needs (dementia, transfers, supervision, etc.)
- - - - - - - Must be fully vaccinated for COVID
- - - - - - - Must receive an annual flu shot
- - - - - - - Must be able to assist with basic transfers
- - - - - - - MUST be able to pass a criminal background check
- - - - - - - Must be reliable, compassionate, flexible and a team player
- - - - - - - 1+ year of prior experience as a Caregiver, preferred but not required
Medical Requirements: -
- - - - - - - MUST have current New Jersey HHA Certification
- - - - - - - Two (2) forms of ID: Driver's License, Social Security card, etc.
- - - - - - - Step 1 PPD, Chest X-ray or QuantiFERON
