Summary: We seek a Maitre'D to lead our service team, ensuring guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate possesses great communication skills, a polished floor presence, and a passion for detail. They will be responsible for assigning duties, preparing summaries, and upholding service standards. The Maitre'D must also possess exceptional work ethic, a strong sense of hospitality, and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Assign duties and responsibilities for the shift
  
• Prepare a summary of total covers, guest information, and special notes for each shift
  
• Engage with guests and colleagues in a professional and dignified manner
  
• Uphold service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
  
• Greet all guests and thank them with a warm and friendly smile
  
• Provide a high level of organization and hospitality
  
• Maintain integrity of service by communicating with Managers
  
• Manage reservation system and plot reservations
  
• Ensure reservations are prioritized and seated in a timely manner
  
• Communicate with guests when delays occur
  
• Engage management for guest issues
  
• Maintain control over the flow of service
  
• Operate the reservation/seating system
  
• Communicate with service team and management
  
• Support team members to ensure satisfaction of all guests
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand
  
• Perform additional service and/or operational tasks
  
  
  Skills and Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Maitre D in a high-volume setting
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    
  • Proficiency in Open Table or similar reservation system
    
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong sense of hospitality, and collaborative attitude
    
  • Ability to work in an organized and professional manner
    
  • Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback
    
  • Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability
    
  • Available to work nights, holidays, and long days
    
  • Strong knowledge and interest in food and beverage
    
  • Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
