Pastry Cook Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Le Jardinier. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing pastry production and working service during the night time service.Key Responsibilities:

• Execute recipes and maintain kitchen equipment
• Use working knowledge of basic pastry techniques, including scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, and finishing
• Assist in the production of a dynamic pastry program for the restaurants and bakery, including seasonal specials
• Ensure stated direction and guidance in quality standards are achieved daily
• Communicate any needs in a timely manner, ensuring all ingredients represent the quality standards and are in line with the standards established by the ChefRequirements:
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in professional cooking in a restaurant or establishment of similar caliber
  • High School Diploma or equivalent level of education, required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents in clear English
