Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Foster and maintain customer relationships in a team-based
selling model.
- Manage deliveries according to the transportation department's
routing schedule and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Communicate with customers to collect accounts receivable and
work with the credit department to ensure timely payments.
- Utilize market intelligence databases and attend trade shows
and conferences to identify and develop new business
opportunities.
- Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and
competitors' products, and share relevant information with
customers.
- Drive to customer locations for product delivery, including
lifting and carrying up to 75lbs. Qualifications:
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant
management, or hospitality is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal
and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; experience with
customer relationship management tools is preferred. Physical
Requirements:
- Standing, walking, and driving frequently.
- Lifting and carrying objects of various weights.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending.
- Frequent grasping and manipulating of objects.
